The most recent addition from the Mercedes A-class family has arrived: the all-new A-class L Saloon. The car you see here is bespoke to the Chinese market, however Mercedes says that an A class saloon will be custom-made to the necessities of clients outside of China, dispatch expected in the second half of the year (2018).

The new A class saloon is constructed solely in China at Beijing Benz Automotive Co, in organization with BAIC Motors. Does the design look somewhat familiar?… de-ja vu? We first glanced a look at how it would look from the Concept A Sedan, first uncovered at the Shanghai engine appear in 2017.

Chinese market produced engines will incorporate a 1.33-liter 4cyl petroleum engine with either 134bhp or 161bhp from dispatch, with a 2.0-liter 4cyl motor coming later. Inside, it resembles the general A-Class hatch, with a pretty slick looking inside, with Merc’s MBUX infotainment framework and nav that highlights augmented reality overlays.
